In my vocation as a minister, I read a lot that never finds its way into a sermon, an article, or a book. I also have conversations that are refreshingly stimulating, ideas while I’m reading that give birth to other ideas, rabbit trails that end up leading somewhere after all. Along the way, I take in the sights and sounds of my pilgrim life, and this blog is a humble invitation for you to join me in taking it all in. Ideas and questions and musings that occur to me, if they seem to me to be potentially edifying, will likely find their way here. But those hunting for juicy polemical vitriol and gossip will, I hope, be quite disappointed. Instead, I invite my friends, my brothers and sisters in Christ, to come along and reflect theologically with me about the shape and look of the appropriately attentive life in Christ to which all his disciples are called.
